Perhaps as a child you once sang a fun little ditty about a hapless man, named Henry, and his beloved, named Liza. See, this song is about a problem Henry has. His bucket has a hole in it so it is pretty much useless. But instead of handling the problem himself, he runs to ask Liza what he should do.

New York Times Attacking Textbook Makers, Veiled Attack on Capitalism
College textbooks are overpriced and something should be done. Why, Congress should even step in! That is the message that The New York Times wants us to understand(1) and I can’t say it is, in and of itself, entirely the wrong message—save the whole bit about Congress stepping in, of course. But, as is typical of The New York Times, their story is only a small part of the whole story. In their exuberance to shake a finger at book manufacturers and in their hurry to blame capitalism the Times missed the bigger story.

High Oil Prices - Blame The Government You Elected!
Harlingen, Texas, April 28, 2008: Yesterday I topped off my tank at $3.49.9 a gallon. But, I am lucky. My home is in one of the lowest cost-of-living regions of the country. In California, for example, my brother filled up his tank again at $3.89.9 a gallon...and he shops for “cheap” gas. The high price of gasoline is on the lips of everyone you meet these days. Also, everyone has his or her own idea about whom we should blame for our latest economic woes.
Words matter
Joe Bacca whose caucus is influential in the democratic party said in an attempt the thwart the first amendment rights of Lou Dobbs CNN that words matter, words have power and he is right and that is exactly why we are given the right to freedom of speech. You must understand when it comes to the Democratic Party anything that is not pro American reigns supreme, they will fight for the rights of the terrorists, they will fight for the rights of illegal immigrants, and they will fight for the rights of anyone but an American. That my friends is why the Hispanic caucus is so influential in the Democratic Party because they wish to change America, they want to make her just like every other country in the world.

Telling the Truth about Obama Means You’re a Racist
As more information emerges about Barack Hussein Obama - although decidedly not from the mainstream media who diligently work to protect him - it has become patently obvious, to those who still have the ability to reason, that he is both a radical and a racist. It also now becomes obvious as to why Senator Obama chose the extremist Jeremiah Wright’s church. From his own pen - and contained within his books “Audacity of Hope” and “Dreams from My Father” - Obama strongly, if not unambiguously, agrees with the truly racist and anti-Semitic Wright. However, disseminating the truth about Obama is - as was to be expected from the Left - now being called “racist.” However, some in the Republican Party - most specifically John McCain - are also calling for more “gentle treatment” of this radical candidate for POTUS. Inexplicably, John McCain is even calling for the removal of Republican Ads that tell these truths about Candidate Obama.

‘Hillary Versus Obama: Whose Lies Will Prevail?’
Perhaps the most striking conclusion to be drawn from this week’s Pennsylvania Primary is that, despite its results, nothing in the Democrat Party’s currently tangled state will change. And this would have been so, no matter how the election had unfolded.
With Obama, it’s the Communism, Stupid
Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama tried to deflect a question about his relationship with terrorist Bill Ayers by saying that he “engaged in detestable acts 40 years ago when I was 8-years-old” and that he was now a professor and a neighbor. The real issue is whether Obama shares Ayers’ communist views. Obama admitted to exchanging ideas with Ayers on an irregular basis but did not say what those ideas were. But we know that Ayers, rather than just being a 1960s “radical,” was a member of a Marxist-Leninist communist group.

Ben Stein’s excellent film, Expelled: No Intelligence Allowed, is a perfect example of our militant atheistic Leftists have created an Inquisition to purge and to scourge anyone within the professions related to an explanation of the origins of life who deviates from a materialist, deterministic, godless solution. He went, but could have gone, further. More than one lonely scientific soul has noted that without the physical laws of the universe being exactly the way they are - with a deviation in those laws of just a tiny fraction - that not only would human life be impossible, but any life would be impossible in the universe.

Harlingen, Texas, April 17,2008: During the presidential campaign of 1828 Democrat Andrew Jackson was labeled a “jackass” because he was perceived to have stubborn and stupid political views. One hundred and nine years later that label still hangs around the neck of the Democratic Party. The party never adopted the jackass label, but it became an accepted party symbol by the people. Over the course of time political spinners changed the term from jackass to a donkey that was “clever and courageous”, and the party has continued to spin that image.
