Facts We Are Supposed To Ignore About Barack Obama

Obama’s fan club in the mainstream news media has abandoned all basic tenets of journalism, in favor of protecting a candidate whose own supporters cannot name any of his accomplishments. Despite his lack of experience and many troubling issues surrounding Obama, our liberal press has joined his campaign and now hope that we will be so taken with his rock star status that we too will ignore the facts.
Here are a few of the facts folks such as Chris Matthews hope we will not discover:
1) His middle name is Hussein.
Liberals were outraged when radio talk show host Bill Cunningham dared to mention his full name. Demanding that we ignore his actual name is possibly the most absurd item this election season!
Barack Hussein Obama is named for the grandson of the Muslim prophet Muhammad. Obama claims that his father who was raised in a Muslim family, was not a Muslim but an atheist. This despite the fact that he gave his son a Muslim name.
2) His wife Michelle’s apparent anti-American attitude.
Michelle Obama damaged her husband’s bid for the White House with her recent remarks, when at a recent Wisconsin campaign rally, she told the crowd: “For the first time in my adult lifetime, I am really proud of my country.”
Really?...So Michelle Obama was not proud of her country when we came together in an out-pouring of support for those murdered by Islamic terrorists after we were attacked on September 11, 2001? She was not proud of her country when President H.W. Bush sent troops to Somalia to feed starving children? She was not proud of her country when our all-volunteer military went to Kuwait and expelled Saddam Hussein’s murderous thugs from that country? She was not proud of her country when that same all-volunteer military made it possible for Afghani women to vote in an election for the first time in that nation’s history? Nor has she been proud as Americans have continued to open their wallets to the tune of several billions of dollars for AIDS and famine relief in Africa, Asian Tsunami relief, and Katrina relief?
No, she apparently only feels proud of her country because so many of us have seen fit to vote for her husband. More to the point...that so many white people have seen fit to vote for her black husband!
3) His membership in a black racist church.
Both Barack and Michelle Obama attend a black-separatist organization known as Trinity United Church of Christ. The church describes itself on their website as “Unashamedly Black.” While the church is located in Chicago, the congregation states: “We are an African people, and remain true to our native land, the mother continent, the cradle of civilization.” They sell a large array of race-based books on their website and recently announced that they will honor the incredibly racist and anti-Semitic Louis Farrakhan with an ‘Empowerment Award.’
An examination of the “Unashamedly” racist way in which these two worship as well as their apparent devotion to Africa, instead of their own nation may explain why Barack Obama refuses to place his hand over his heart when the National Anthem is played, or why he also refuses to wear an American flag pin on his lapel...He just as his wife has publicly announced, is evidently ashamed of his country.
4) His association with a known terrorist.
In 2001, Obama accepted a financial contribution from William Ayers, a founding member of the terrorist group known as the Weather Underground. That violent organization bombed the Pentagon as well as the Capitol building in the 1970’s.
Ayers and Obama served together on the board of a Chicago non-profit leftist group, and have appeared together on University of Chicago academic panels. When the New York Times asked Ayers about his terrorist activities in the wake of the 9/11 attacks, Ayers said: “I feel we didn’t do enough.”
The two have reportedly been friends since they were introduced to one another in 1995 by an Illinois state legislator.
5) His endorsement from Louis Farrakhan.
An endorsement by the virulent racist and anti-Semite Farrakhan would ordinarily be immediately rejected by most people. However, Obama would not even consider the idea until he was pressed to do so by NBC’s Tim Russert and Hillary Clinton, during the last debate. His unconvincing renouncement of the hate-filled Louis Farrakhan combined with his very close ties to his racist pastor Jeremiah Wright Jr., should set off alarm bells for Jews and gentiles alike.
Obviously, there are many questions surrounding Barack Obama, which demand answers. However, our liberal press is willing to ignore all of these questions and instead of vigorously investigating this man who could very well be our next president, they have chosen to shield him.
To abandon their responsibilities as journalists in favor of becoming handlers for Obama, has not only proven once again the fraudulent nature of today’s mainstream press, but has the potential to place the American people in great danger. At a time when Americans live with the daily threat of terrorism from the Muslim world, we cannot elect a President who will either surrender to them or embrace them. Is Obama that man? Is he a stealth candidate?...We cannot rely on our own news media to find out. They are too busy falling in love.
